When Margo Roth Spiegelman beckons Quentin Jacobsen in the middle of the night – dressed like a ninja and plotting an ingenious campaign of revenge – he follows her. Margo’s always planned extravagantly, and, until now, she’s always planned solo. After a lifetime of loving Margo from afar, things are finally looking up for Q . . . until day breaks and she has vanished. Always an enigma, Margo has now become a mystery. But there are clues. And they’re for Q. Printz Medalist John Green returns with the trademark brilliant wit and heart-stopping emotional honesty that have inspired a new generation of readers.
Like all of John Greens books, Paper Towns is funny, widely intelligent, as vastly enduring. You get hooked right from the PROLOGUE!

I first heard of John Green through his youtube channels ( I admit crash course saved my GPA a few times) last year just as his promotion for The Fault in Our Stars was on full effect. I heard splendid  reviews about it but i was skeptical to go on that rollercoaster of feels* But read it anyways of course, as well as all of his other books including the Personal Favorite, and emotionally crippling Looking For Alaska.

Paper Towns was fantastic EPIC"" i wouldn't expect anything less from John Green. Its not another run of the mill stereotypical coming of age story. Paper Towns if oozing with romance, its riveting in the prospect  of gripping you from the get go. I think the aspect that differentes John is his appeal to a funny story but also making it serious in terms of the big picture. His themes also come full circle and Paper Town wasn't an exception. The theme of Paper Towns is that understanding a person’s logic, reason and concepts is more important than understanding a person for what you (personally) believe them to be or what you wish them to be in your mind. “What a treacherous thing to believe that a person is more than a person.”.
The story starts with Quentin, who by an unbelievable circumstance lives next door to Margo. Margo chooses Quentin, who has been in love with Margo since they were kids full night adventure he’ll never forget, before she disappears. Quentin learns that Margo has left puzzling clues of her destination before fleeing, and he intends to unpuzzle those clues that will eventually lead to the greatest treasure of all. Margo.
What i loved about this book what that it had an emphasis in searching. Not specifically only for Margo, but searching for your identity, friendship, and the greatest search of all ...searching for what truly matters in life. The book’s dialogue and writing style comes of as funny, nerdy (compliment) very mature in spite of being a coming of age story. The character’s are each their own not one character is spawn just to exist but have a deep meaning and importance to the overall story. Green writes in a way that connects to any reader and you can't wait to divulge the whole book in just a few hours!
What i most like about the book and in short the author itself is his ability to write not to satisfy the reader’s but to deliver an overall AMAZING and engaging story that does what a book is supposed to do, TO THINK AND TO FEEL.
I can't say anymore unless i spoil it for you. All i can really say is engaging this book is totally worth every feel, and it demands to be read without SPOILS, as it will take you on a ‘rollercoaster that can only go up’**

Mascara: Do's and Dont's

Mascara is such a subjective matter..and pretty awesome—some like it detailed and smooth when it is nearly detectable, some like it thick and blunt. To me a powerful mascara that defines but doesn't look too clumpy or exaggerated is the way to go. The reason why in the first place i wanted to talk about mascara is because as a young adult*(haha) and as someone who is consecutively surrounded by young kids my age i can pretty much tell you *we don't sleep. We stay up late doing assignments for school, instagraming stuff (you know who you,Starbuck selfless, and normal selfless* are)  and pretty much obsessing after FANdoms on Tumblr we don't have time to actually do our makeup properly unless you wake up with some adequate time in advance. And sometimes are mascara looks like  a throwback snooki's makeup after a looong night of lashing out, partying, and lets be real elusive and not necessary crying (sorry for snooki fan's out there). To me mascara can make your day or break it.

So when is it too much??? I suggest if  you have a Snooki moment go easy on the mascara i LOVE mascara but on a day to day basis you seriously don't need a heavy coat This above picture of lilly collins is perfect is suttle but brighting to the eye. Especially as a college kid , this is pretty perfect on our rush hour days (which is pretty much every day in my case..)

What I like so much is that her lashes appear natural, not like the glued-on spidery things that accompany so many celebrities down the red carpet with thick clumps on their already big enough false lashes. I like that she has a touch of mascara on the bottom too. This defines her eye shape enough that she needs hardly any eyeliner at all.. I absolutely love this look

Realistically not everyone has the same eye shape and natural lash volume.. but there comes a time when more is not always better....

So in conclusion-- DO INVEST in a good simple but dramatic mascara
AND DONT clump or rush you lashes...

What i want to know is if you agree? And to share any mascara experiences!

Great Gatsby||Book* Review

IN CELEBRATION OF THE MAKING OF THE GREAT GATSBY MOVIE, I INTRODUCE MY BOOK REVIEW TO ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOK'S OF ALL TIME, I LOVED THE MOVIE BUT THE PRINT VERSION WILL ALWAYS BE EXTRAORDINARY.

The Great Gatsby Review

I've lost count on how many times I have read the Great Gatsby. It is an American book; a classic. One you always find yourself going back to. Also a book that no matter how many times you read it, there is aways something new to learn, and a new lesson to be taught. It is grand, dramatic over the top some even say nearly absurd while focusing on the lavish parties with hidden context between each line, as but also beautiful, and intense. The book was more lyrical , smoldering and explosive In a way the book sings to you, the wind brilliant narration of the book has internal thoughts and commentary that you have to see to get something out of it, as Fitzgerald allows you to reach your own conclusion about the things he does for daisy and as they unravel. It is a writers book in a way, since its so simple and in many ways obvious, yet it works so wonderfully well as you unravel it throughout the book. Nick Carraway said, “Gatsby Turned out alright in the end; it is what preyed on Gatsby, what could dust floated in the wake of his dreams that temporarily closed out my interest in the abortive sorrows and short-winded elations of men. (Fitzgerald 2). Perhaps one of the most famous quotes in the book and in American Literature. You may take many interpretations from this quote. As writer's and And Artists work is often not theirs anymore once reached to the public, as the public makes own conclusion towards the topic. To myself I take it as despite Gatsby's troubles, his love for daisy was pure. Everything he did was always for her. Throwing lavish parties hoping one day she will walk through the door. Despite everything he turned out alright ,although in the process of trying to win her, he associated himself with people he had no real relation towards. People with no passion, users and takers, people who though too highly off themselves. Gatsby thought of them as boring and unpleasant, but would endure them for the sake of Daisy. He went as far as at the green light at the end of the hallway. The green light represented his hopes and dreams for the future with Daisy. And his hope that it wasn't too late for them. Fitzgerald went to great lengths to illustrate Gatsby's love for daisy. A line was drawn between Fitzgerald and his character Gatsby and you start to realize how close his story was to Gatsby's. Fitzgerald dedicated the book to Zelda his wife that after a nervous breakdown ended up away a nervous Institution. Gatsby had hope and so did Fitzgerald for Gatsby despite his love ending badly for him. At the end Gatsby loved intensely but realized Daisy will always choose another over him. So both loved, hoped, but at the end ended up alone. It's organized as a series of moments like small time bombs in which one might go off and relieve some weight of what the reader knows, but at the same time you don't want them to go off to enjoy the way things unravel for as long as possible.Even then whether it was real like Fitzgerald's love for Zelda or fiction like Gatsby's love for Daisy demonstrated a man's thrill for a life partner, no matter the end cause.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EN LA CELEBRACIÓN DE LA CREACIÓN DE LA PELÍCULA GRAN GATSBY, me presento a mi RESEÑA DE UNO DE MI LIBRO DE FAVORITO DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS, me encantó la película, pero LA VERSIÓN IMPRESA siempre serán extraordinarias.
He perdido la cuenta de cuántas veces he leído el Gran Gatsby. Es un libro americano, un clásico. Uno siempre se encuentra volviendo a. También un libro que no importa cuántas veces usted lo lee, hay obsequios algo nuevo que aprender, y una nueva lección que enseñar. Es grandioso, espectacular en la cima algunos incluso dicen casi absurda mientras se centra en las grandes fiestas con marco oculto entre líneas, como, pero también hermoso e intenso. El libro era más lírica, humeante y explosivo En cierto modo el libro te canta, la narración brillante viento del libro tiene pensamientos internos y los comentarios que hay que ver para conseguir algo de él, ya que Fitzgerald le permite llegar a su propio conclusión acerca de las cosas que hace de margarita y ya que desentrañar. Es un libro escritores de alguna manera, ya que es tan simple y de muchas maneras obvias, pero funciona tan maravillosamente bien como a desentrañar lo largo del libro. Nick Carraway dijo, "Gatsby Resultó bien al final, es lo que se aprovechaba de Gatsby, lo que podría sacar el polvo flotaba en la estela de sus sueños que cerró temporalmente fuera de mi interés por los dolores abortivos y Elations corto aliento de los hombres. (Fitzgerald 2). Tal vez una de las citas más famosas en el libro y en la literatura estadounidense. Usted puede tener muchas interpretaciones de esta cita. Como escritor y Artistas y trabajo a menudo no es la suya una vez más llegó al público, ya que el público hace conclusión propia hacia el tema. A mí mismo me lo tomo como a pesar de los problemas de Gatsby, su amor por Margarita era puro. Todo lo que hizo fue siempre para ella. Lanzar grandes fiestas con la esperanza que un día ella le guiará a través de la puerta. A pesar de todo lo que resultó bien, aunque en el proceso de tratar de conquistarla, se asoció con la gente que no tenía ninguna relación real hacia. Las personas que no tienen pasión, los usuarios y los tomadores, las personas que aunque demasiado altamente de sí mismos. Gatsby creía en ellos como aburrido y desagradable, pero perduraría por el bien de la margarita. Él fue tan lejos como a la luz verde al final del pasillo. La luz verde que representaba sus esperanzas y sueños para el futuro con Daisy. Y su esperanza de que no fuera demasiado tarde para ellos. Fitzgerald hizo todo lo posible para ilustrar el amor de Gatsby de la margarita. Una línea se dibuja entre Fitzgerald y su carácter Gatsby y usted comienza a darse cuenta de lo cerca que su historia era Gatsby. Fitzgerald dedicó el libro a Zelda a su esposa que después de un ataque de nervios terminó fuera una institución nervioso. Gatsby tenía esperanza y lo hizo Fitzgerald a Gatsby a pesar de su amor que termina mal para él. Al final Gatsby amaba intensamente, pero se dio cuenta de Daisy siempre elegir otro sobre él. Así que tanto amaba, la esperanza, pero al final terminó en paz. Está organizado como una serie de momentos como pequeñas bombas de tiempo en el que uno puede salir y aliviar un poco el peso de lo que sabe el lector, pero al mismo tiempo no quiere que vayan a disfrutar las cosas desentrañar durante el tiempo como posible. Entonces si era real, como el amor de Fitzgerald de Zelda o ficción como el amor de Gatsby por Daisy demostró emoción de un hombre por un compañero de vida, sin importar la causa final.
Dealing With Stress
http://indulgy.com/post/AX9Q22n0K1/stress#/do/from/75134254513
You wake up, you grab a quick breakfast, get ready for the day, put make up on, and have to change five times because of course nothing is fitting right that day and the weather is not playing nice. You have flash cards in your hand ready for that day's exam and a Starbucks cup in your other hand. You nail your test but still feel anxious toward the results, you get through the next class, and then you go to the gym and finally get home eat dinner and finish/start on your next paper. Then finally sleep around 12:30. It no surprise the big word that haunts you in those days in STRESS.
 I especially deal with anxiety and sometimes a simple task is like the world is ending, stress can take over and add to my anxiety. I recently had an epiphany a few days ago when my sister asked,"Why are you so bitter lately?" I realized stress was taking over my life and i needed a stress detox ASAP.
Say YES!
Its a project on the works, but one worth having. Saying yes to life possibilites you wouldnt normally agree to can make you feel like you are taking life by its hinges and taking control of how you live your life.
Music
Music has that great capability of making you let go and just exists within a song. It lets you put aside your worries and you anxiety and focus on a story.
Workin' it out
Some people might not enjoy working out, sweating etc but i think we can all agree it feels great afterward . Working out releases endorphins that make you feel relaxed and on ease.
Namaste'
Take a breath in and sloooow down
We all have goals, and achievements we we wish to reach but life isn't about living it fast but living it fully doing what you love while still having time to stop and enjoy the view. HOT YOGA is something i discovereda few months ago and its also a great workout. It helps you understand your body and how it works while helping you reach a balance between work/school and your emotional state.
FINALLY DRINK WATER!
 Our bodies, including our brains, need water to function properly. If you’re just a bit dehydrated, your body's levels of cortisol, a stress hormone, increase. Plus water and sleep is the most important ingredient for helping your skin look and feel great.
If  ya'll have ever experienced stress and found ways to de-stress and would like to share comment below! I love reading y'alls comments
Newspaper Nails
Okay guys so this little nail experiment has been around for a while now, but like so many i honestly didn't know how to do this. Newspaper Nails--->  Mind=Blown!
What You'll Need:
1) Base & Top Coat
2) Nail Polish of your choice try to get one you know is long-lasting!
3) Any newspaper (some states don't use same quality newspaper to save trees)
4)  Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol
Step 1
BASE COAT AND COLOR
Okay the first step is to apply a thin layer of your favorite base coat. Then, apply two coats of any polish in a light to medium shade. Choose a creamy, non-shimmery texture for best results.
Step 2
PREPARE NEWSPAPER
While your nails are drying; Cut ten 2" x 1" strips (one for each nail), and set aside.
Step 3
NEWSPAPER APPLICATION
Begin applying the newspaper only after your nails are completely dry. Dab rubbing alcohol on the nail bed with your finger or dip the whole nail into a small bowl of rubbing alcohol. Then, dip one newspaper strip into your small bowl of alcohol and shake it out.  Overlay that newspaper strip directly on the nail bed and don't move!  Take an alcohol-dampened paper towel and apply light pressure on the nail just like a temporary tattoo. After 10 full seconds, slowly peel off the strip and you'll see the ink imprint. Repeat this process for each nail.
Step 4
TOP COAT
Allow nails to dry again for five full minutes, then seal the deal with your favorite top coat.
I absolutely loved the effect it was very creative and unique , doing my nail's isnt usually my strong suit so i think next time ill get a professional to do it . This was just really creative and as blogger's might we all agree this is like a blogger trademark on your nails WE ALL LOVE WRITING!
Let me know if ya'll have tried this before and if it worked for ya'll?! And dont forget to add me via other social media
sites! Thankyou!
And who would want to put onion on their face anyway right?Trust me its not as bad as it seems and dont worry you wont put raw onion directly on your face. The goal is to clear pores and redness NOT get you smelling like onions all day long!
Ok now almost every kitchen has two powerful skin treatments: oatmeal and onions.As you all now  Oatmeal helps clear clogged pores, while onions serve as an anti-inflammatory that can help heal acne scars. Its easy and it works! If you want a thicker mask add sweet honey, now you KNOW that is good for you!
Now Below is the recipe Good luck let me know if it worked for ya'll?
Natural Benefits:
Oatmeal clears clogged pores. An anti-inflammatory, onions help heal acne scars.
Yield: Approximately 8 applications
2. Finely grind onion in a food processor, making a smooth puree. Add to the oatmeal while still warm.
ELIE SAAB || Spring 2013 Collection
                                                                                                                            www.eliesaab.com
I am officially in love with this designer! He caught by eye during Paris fashion week during which he was featured in one of Rachel Zoe's Project episodes. His exuberance and timeless elegance was easily transformed into the kind of sex appeal every woman wants. And it was with no waste of time that i started researching and if i may say so creepin' a little! From his Start of his love for women's fashion to his collection masterpieces from the last decade he is able to tell a story with every garment he makes. When looking at fashion today i am always searching for the story, who is this woman? What is her story? He did this so easily, and you occasionally have one of those "OH SHIZZ" Amazing moments.
www.eliesaab.com
Since i couldn't possibly pick just one photo of his entire collection i put together a couple of slideshows featuring his two collections. The Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013 Collection and his Ready To Wear Spring 2013 Collection, not all of his garments are featured and the slide show runs on 5-7 seconds intervals.
Haute Couture Spring 2013 - Slideshow
What i most Loved about this Haute couture collection is the detailing, as you can see from the pictures it was elegant but had a sense of risk in all of this! His designs especially in his gowns are very risky when it comes to showing skin, he expresses sexiness in the silhouette instead in the showing of flesh. The tugging at the waist gives the image of an hour glass figure, and with hints of sheer fabric he is able to set an illusion of skin while keeping it classy but sexy.It is like reminiscing on when you first set your eyes on a Marchesa Gown. Another reason why i love this designer is because i feel like he understands women and women's body he knows who we are and how we want to feel! This is the dream closet for the ultimage girly girl as his collection sets a mood of pastel's and light fabrics. There were not many prints on the surface of the garment but actually in the garment using shapes to further center the definition of the waist and produce a sliming figure overall.
Ready To Wear Spring 2013 - Slideshow
His Ready to wear Collection, i was highly impressed. It was different yet similar to the Haute couture collection. He always keeps it elegant but this time played with prints! I am a huge prints fan if they are in the right place. I saw that in his designs instead of using the spring colors throughout the whole garment they were instead portrayed as prints. The silhouette was the same as it tugged at the waist and revealed skin without it looking trashy. Like i said before SAAB really knows how women are made and how we want to feel. (I love the black mini dress!)
At the moment i am loving this designer! I want to know what yall's favorite designer is right now?!?!?!
COCONUT OIL || Worth the Hype??
Over the last year, all i have heard on tv, articles, and even PINTEREST is that coconut oil is the solution to all your beauty problems.Seems a little too good to be true, doesn't it? After much speculation i decided i would try it out. First issue it said corrected was dry hair or damaged hair. So i went online a did a little research on the how-to process, otherwise i would have made a big mess!(yikes) Anyway the steps are pretty simple Use Organic virgin coconut oil,which you could find on your local farmers market or wholes food; and saran wrap. Apply the raw oil and start with your tip's and follow up until your scalp make sure you cover your whole head. Wrap your hair around to a secure bun and the use the saran wrap to secure it even further and to make you nothing drips and the coconut start working it's magic*. Wait about twenty minutes then shower or wash your hair (what you normally do) make sure to wash thoroughly with your shampoo and conditioner. Towel dry your hair and follow your usual hair care routine. I was actually really surprised with this i thought it was really great and easy!. I thought i gave my hair more volume and overall it just felt more alive. My hair color seemed richer and that didn't diminish after i styled it and applied heat and that was just one session (Don't forget to use heat protector!) So yes i really did love this!
The following issue people are raving it fixe's is dry skin and acne. Alone i wasn't that impressed overall just made my skin look oily; i left the oil on my face for about 10 minute's it wasn't that great it kinda just made my face smell good. I researched a bit more and i saw an article regarding coconut oil when mixed with honey. THIS WAS SOOO GOOD! I guess that's the kick the oil needed the face mask reduced redness from pores and diminished some spots that i had before! Keep in mind i did do this 3X a week so don't give up if you didn't see results right away.Also with the hair treatment i used it twice a week. So overall yes i think it is definitely worth the hype keep in mind not everyone is the same we all have different skin types and hair texture's so don't get discouraged it not always works for you there is probably something out there that i worth YOUR hype!
Have ya'll tried this before?
China Doll Boutique Competition || MY PICK'S
Hey Everyone I'm really exited about this post because its another competition!
Before i start styling anything, i always refer back to a theme. What do i want this outfit to say? And is it practical for that day? So for this outfit i was aiming for a chic sophisticated yet casual look. I wanted to be comfortable but also really stylish and i centered the whole look Around the China Doll Boutique Blush Pink Top. Nothing better can say casual than a pair of jeans, it's always great to go bak to basics and the light tainted H&M Skinny Low shade is perfect for that. Adding more casual extra's i thought a cardigan from H&M instead of the blazer would be perfect for this especially because of the color it wont take anything away from the pink top. And the H&M Court shoes in black tie to whole outfit together, especially because of the simple heel your feet wont hurt after a long-day of activities. But we cant stop there as a handbag is a must have! I raved in my February/March Wish list about this amazing ZARA office handbag (perfect for on-the-go).Finishing up this outfit i realized that i had no jewelry so i thought i would add a H&M Ring and a pop of color with a TopShop Lip Crayon! China Doll Boutique  has this amazing competition in respect for the launch of their new website. As i mentioned in my IM BACK! || Surviving college before a break || i had been really busy for a while so i wasn't able to give my upmost attention to my blog (...sad) , and therefore am posting my submission kinda late. Nevertheless its great to be back and I'm gonna post the info for he competition below. Also the budget is 200, as the winner will receive all of their pick's or as much as it add's to the 200 pound's! MINE Added up to 179.95!
Did you guy's like my pick's?? Don't forget to comment and follow via GFC and other social media sites.
HomeMade Sunday!
Another homemade sunday recipe. What I'm going to talk about today is probably the easiest recipe i have ever done. And all you need is SUGAR.
That's it!
This might sound a bit weird but i actually wash my face with sugar everyday.
It's a great, and easy exfoliant for your face. It washes a away dead skin cell's and gives you an instant smoothness to your complexion. Some say it might be to harsh for your skin and you shouldn't  rub too hard. Truth is you just have to know how to do it.
Pour some sugar into a small container, then add hot water. DONT put it on your face just yet, wait till the sugar particles start melting  and when the water is warm not hot start exfoliating your entire face with the sugar. Remember this is not a mask just an easy scrub for everyday use. Do this for about a minute and wash away the sugar and pat dry your face. And that's it, your done you will instantly feel your face much much smoother.
What did you guys think about my post? Have any recipes of your own i should try? Please leave your comment's below and don't forget to follow via GFC and other media sites!
