Hello, everyone  as you can see i got my February Glossybox today. The theme for this month's Glossybox was "International Style". I have been deliberating back in forth for months wether or not i should actually subscribe. But looking at the December and the special Edition January Man Repeller box i was sold! Almost everything in those two boxes was full size and had useful products like primer and styling spray...And of course i subscribe and i get this...
I got:
1-Nail Rock- Nail Wraps (London)
2-LISI Liquid Liner (New York)
3-BVLGARI Eau Parfumee Au The Blanc Soap (Italy)
4-Evologie eSystem Duo Pack Intense Blemish Serum and Stay Clear Cream (London)
5- Da Vinci Cosmetics shimmer powder (New York)
One this box feel's alot more like a Birchbox rather the Glossybox that is worth $21. The great thing about Glossybox is that usually the bigger full size items can last you months. In this case i can say i will probably use one to none of these maybe the spot treatment just to give it a chance ( free on their website just pay SHP&H). The Nail Rock was animal print themed it just screamed jersey shore to me ( i usually just wear one color, or a simpler print). The Nail Rock Print art is from London i think. I apologize for the vagueness but it actually doesn't really state only a couple or products do state.I was really exited about the LISI liquid liner because im in urgent need of a new one and was about to go on an impromptu trip to Sephora but it seems i get to go anyway (yay!) because the shade i got was in the color of Crystal Ball 09 which is  Shimmery gold, its rather a nice add on color but I'm gonna stick with brown or black liner (from New York Boutique). The next item i got was from Italy it is the BVLGARI Eau Parfumee Au The Blanc Soap which i think its just fancy talk for good smelling' soap (lol) Any ways the soap is priced at $30.The next item item is priced at 15$ and is the travel Kit for the Evologie eSystem Duo Pack Intense Blemish Serum and Stay Clear Cream and it is from London UK. Im gonna try it out and let you guys know if it works or not. The last Item is from Da Vinci Cosmetics and is a shimmer powder from New York i might actually like this but i think the color might be too dark from my usual blush color and this is full size and is priced at $15.
Over all I'm a little in battle with myself i don't know if ill like some of the products without actually trying them but visually i was expecting more from the international theme! I was really looking forward to some of the products i see in UK Glossybox I'm always really impressed! I'll subscribe again for one more month and if its disappointing ill cancel my subscription.

So what did you guys think of these products? Have heard of them Before? Don't forget to follow my blog and other social media sites and leave your amazing comments below!

Home Made Sunday! - Blackheads/Whiteheads

Hello everyone, NO this is not a post about ice cream sundae (although i wish it was)! I noticed that particularly one of my most popular posts since i started blogging was my Kissable Lips Post where i gave a home remedy to chapped or-dry lips, so i thought i would let you guys in on another little secret of mine to getting rid of those unwelcome little spots on your face. So i thought i would do this a weekly thing so now every sunday i will post a home remedy beauty secret!
I don't generally get a lot of big pimples or high levels of acne but i do get too many black heads or white heads there not too noticeable when covered by makeup but i know they are there and are extremely annoying those little monsters. But When i started looking for home remedies via the internet, i noticed everything included some weird thing that we supposedly have in our kitchen like pure vanilla extract (WHO HAS THAT!?) So instead of going on a scavenger hunt in my local grocery store i found one that you can literally make in less that a minute!

There are 2 things that you will need:
1- Toothpaste
2- Salt

Thats it!

I was heavily skeptical about this but after trying so many products for black/white heads i thought i would give his a chance.  Before you start wash your face with warm water not hot or cold to open up your pores. Next all you have to do is mix up both ingredients in equal percentages and apply to your nose and parts of your cheeks and chin. Make sure not to get it too close to your eyes because the scent is strong and it will probably make your eyes water but  after a couple of minutes it will go  away. Leave the paste for around 10 to 15 minutes. Note that i don't have very sensitive skin so if you do I'm not sure you should try this. I am in no way a professional and do not recommend this for people who has severe acne. I felt some tingling and my face afterward felt overly fresh like i had just put mouthwash on my face. Wash your face thoroughly with cold water to close up your pores and your done! The results were better than what i expected it got rid of most of my white heads some black heads were still visible but after doing this about 3 times a week soon they were starting to diminish pretty quickly. Before i started using this a great alternative that i used was the Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser
This is a more expensive option running at 34.99 of off amazon but it guarantees results!

I want to hear from you guys next! What should i do for next sunday? Any beauty concerns that require a home remedy? Let me know down below and don't forget to follow!

Marc B & ASOS Entry Shortlisted!

Quicky While Writing

I generally wake up around 10 am every morning. Since i graduated i cant seem to wake up earlier that that and also do to the fact that all my classes are in the afternoon (completely on purpose). When i finally woke up the first thing i did was boot up my omputer (Aspiring Journalist thing) and check my email. I scrolled down through all the junk i and found A particular one that said Congratulations from Kim as part of the e tail web stores. At first i thought it was another one of those "Congratulations You Just Won a million dollars" email so it was easy to almost dismiss it.Thank god i didn't because it turns out that my entry of the Marc b  & ASOS was in the top 8! I was most exited because this was the first competition i have been in as a blogger and as a part of the Etail Blogger Network. I know its a long shot for me to actually win but the great thing about this is that even if i don't win along with 7 other people who were also in the short list we got recognized! And a beauty+Fashion blogger that is our most sought after goal, exposure. So thank you Marc b and ASOS for this opportunity and grants us this amazing chance to broaden our viewers!

If you guys missed my entry it is down below! Don't forget to follow and good luck to all of the contestants who are in the shortlist!

As soon my macbook loaded through the page of Marc b the first thing that caught my eye was this amazing tote bag! I liked that the description included the word "simple" "glamour" and "practicality". Dived into 3 sections this bag is perfect for an 'On the Go' gal (you can fit your laptop). Naming it the Giselle Black Tote it is priced at 93.36 but it looks way more expensive that it actually is! When styling this outfit around the black tote i thought i wanted to give it some edge so when i found myself  the ASOS premium Spike Jewel Cross Necklace  it gave it the right amount of edge to this simplistic tote. It is priced at 105.24 a bit on the pricey side but makes a great investment as you could probably style it around 10 different outfits! Not wanting to over shine or add too much after the necklace i looked at cardigans or as the brits say it "Jumpers" and found this to die for Glamorous Jumper in Mixed Yarn i thought the two together balanced each other really well! It tamed the necklace just enough to go perfect with the Marc B bag. It is priced at 43.85 and it has an amazing scoop neckline . One major detail that i had to have was the ASOS Full midi skirt with box pleads i wanted to add some soft textures to the whole outfit instead on going the full nine yards with Rock N' Roll, this sweet skirt priced at 66.65 ties in perfectly with the elegance of the bag and balances out the edgy feeling from the other accesories. And now the shoes, cannot believe the variety ASOS has! The ASOS TRIUMPH Studded Platform Shoe Boots is just was it says " triumph "the name made me feel as if i were on top of the world and thats what i want this outfit to say! They are priced at 70.16. Adding some for softness to the outfit i added some makeup extras keeping it pretty simple with the Classic Black liner and a berry lip paint just because you're rockin' the edge doesn't mean pink is out of the picture. And you can never go wrong with some statement Block Orange Nails ! Over all i wanted to give my outfit a glamorous, sophisticated feeling  that the Marc B bag had with some New York Edge!

So what did you guys think about my outfit? Good luck everyone who submitted an outfit! Leave your comments below and don't forget to follow!

Drugstore BB Cream FaceOFF!

So i have been trying this two bb creams lately and one i am totally impressed with and will re purchase while the other not so much

The First one is the Maybelline New York Dream Fresh BB Cream i am in love with this bb cream the item specifics are:
BB creams combine skincare + makeup in 1 simple step

8-in-1 Skin Perfector:

• Blurs imperfections
• Brightens
• Evens skin tone
• Smoothes
• Hydrates
• Enhances
• Protects with SPF 30
• 0% oils and heavy ingredients

And it does just that throughout the day i felt like i had nothing on my face. My T zone area on my face gets oily at the end of the day this bb creams minimizes that while having the enough coverage to cover imperfections as well as moisturize and hydrate my skin. It gave me so much coverage i usually apply this with no foundation on top just a slight powder to give it the air brushed feeling. I bought this at target for a whooping 5.99 but i think it retails for 8.99. It lasted me for about 3 months which is great for only having 30 mL 1.0 fl oz. i just felt over all it gave me the coverage i needed without  without my having to pour foundation on my face afterward!

I couldn't say the same thing about the Olay fresh effects bb cream it was just 'okay' it said it

• Refreshes

• Brightens

• Evens tone
• Smoothes
• Hydrates
• Protects with SPF 15 (bummer!)

I felt that the BB cream moisturized but didn't protect enough and also i felt it made my skin a shade darker than brightening instead, they weren't specific about the 'tinted' part! It shouldn't say tinted but shear instead. i had to put foundation on top of this for it to have any value i used the shade light to medium since that was the shade i used in the Maybelline BB cream. I have enough moisturizers i was looking for a really great tinted one!.  Plus it was heavily scented which has a huge downer for me. Not to mention the price as it was 14.99 twice the price of the other one! The up side of this product is that it has 75 mL 2.5 fl oz. which takes some of the burn from the overly priced product.

So what did you guys think about my review? Are there any BB creams that you guys think i should try out!? Comment and don't forget to follow!

Who is exited about Topshop in america? Ive been following this british brand for a couple of years now and i cant tell you how happy i am that they have finally put a shop in LA! And it seemed i wasn't the only one. Thousands of people showed up to the grand opening of TOPSHOP/TOPMAN Los Angeles on Valentines day (including tyler Oakley and the very same Ingrid from Miss Glamourazzi)!

Famous faces include Demi Lovato and Kate Bosworth
The Event was held at The Grove in Los angeles.
Before i go into more detail about this amazing brand can i just say i am currently drooling (not very lady like) over Kate Bosworth's outfit and her flawless complexion (she wears almost no makeup!). She styled a boxy denim shirt by JW.Anderson and a Topshot floral print skirt with black wedges. Of course Demi also looks great but in the outfit category i have to give it to Kate since Demi's outfit although really cute i have seen repetitive times lately (i still love you!)
The night before Sir Phillip Green hosted the Topshshop launch opening at Cecconi’s, And for what i have seen a lot of famous faces ( actresses, singers, and public figures) showed up at the event. Who Knew there were so many fans!? The list included faces like Kim Kardashian,Miranda Cosgrove, Emma Roberts and the incredible Lionel Richie! With enough Topshop fizzy drinks to go around its no wonder the much anticipated hooorah was such a success! I have been browsing the online shop for a couple of hours right now (and making a wish list for february!) and i can tell there is going to be a pretty big dent on my bank account! Thank you Brits for this amazing brand!

So what do you guys like about Topshop? You can leave a response down below and don't forget to follow my blog!

Kissable lips!

Hello everybody it is nearing midnight right now in Texas and in just a few hours its going to be Valentine's day! So whoever has a hot date this is blog post is a must! I don't know about you guys but i get really bad chapped lips sometimes and i started reading about way to prevent that so here are some healthy tips to keep your lips healthy and luscious for that special someone.

Moisturize - Make sure to get a lip scrub to exfliate and wash away those dead skin cell's lurking on the surface of your lips. A great scrub is the Sara Happ Vanilla Bean Lip Scrub or you can try DIY one i have been testing out
    What you’ll need:

  • Sugar: 1 tablespoon

  • Honey: 1 tablespoon

  • Olive Oil: 1 teaspoon

  • Vaseline or Shea Butter: 1 teaspoon (Coconut oil and jojoba oil are also good alternatives)

  • Tint- Make sure to apply a tint on your freshly moisturized lips before you add lipstick the color will stay if you eat or drink something. Make sure it is the same color of your lipstick. ( For better results line your lips before this step)

Lipstick- The fun part, make sure to pick a shade that with great pigmentation and with creamy texture (those are the best). And please no icky mushy sticky lip gloss your guy probably doesn't like slimy textures.

Napkin Dab- Dab your lips with a napkin to lighten up the color it always helps!

Thats it Guys have fun on valentines and if you don't have a date you can just do what i do and have a beauty movie mug night with your girls!

So leave a comment below if you liked the post and subscribe thank you!

    ||The Marc Jacobs Fashion Show||

<----------------Did anybody else get this nifty email in their inbox earlier this week?
If you did you're probably subscribed to, i was a little hesitant to subscribe to his website, or any online store type newsletter for the simple reason that your email is blasted with hundreds of emails that you'll probably never open. But since I'm a huge Marc Jacob's i just couldn't resist the temptation. Not that i could actually afford most of these (sigh...).Well anyway thanks to this email all of his fans could see the fashion show live (eeeek!). So much better than waiting for bloggers and journalist who were actually there write about it the next day. But the best conception that i can take from this well we know what we can expect next fall. Its time to start the trend setting!

    Photos: Filippo Fior/InDigitalteam/
I am obsessed with the white leaf print (it wouldn't be Marc without the prints) right above which by the way is called the Etta and it is so sophisticated and chic. Marc's collection seem's to undertake a lot of blues and red tones not to mention the big hair and classic red lip.And has anybody noticed there is absolutely no cleavage (sorry boys)! I do not pretend to be an expert in the fashion department but Marc Jacob's is a genus. This is exactly what this year needed a little 70's throwback! Stop with the flashy sequin's skirts already and bring back some sexy non boob showin' class. Aside from the color scheme and the fact that these pieces are actually wearable it is somewhat like his spring 2013 collection in terms were he thinks baggy clothing is in during 2013.
    Photo: Filippo Fior/InDigitalteam/
Im the kind of person that usually wears what suits me better and  not pay too much attention to 'what is in' but i cant deny that these pieces would look great on anybody with anybody type!
So start the trend setting people make a fashion statement and take some tips from the great Marc Jacobs!

What did you guys think about his collection? Is this something you would wear? Please comment below an don't forget to subscribe!
                                                                       Happy Day Everyone!

    Thread the Pain Away

While i was getting through the awful procedure  of (drumroll please!) hair removal today on my eyebrows, upper lip, and the oh so exiting under arms (geez what girls have to do) I was thinking doesn't this damage your skin? Has anybody been wondering about this or is it just me? So i started reading about what wax and the possible precautions you should take when applying it. Turns out waxing can have lasting effects on your skin, which you will possibly have to live with for the rest of you life. The heat that you put on your skin leaves a dark pigment that darkens over the years, caused by sunlight, the skin is sensitized by the waxing and the skin protects itself by creating pigment. And especially on sensitive skin you can get rashes and possibly tear your skin. Not to mention that the procedure is undeniably painful.

i started to research other options for hair removal and found threading. You know that thing where a lady stands over you face and pulls hair with a string. It was absolutely amazing. I first did it to my eyebrow's and it literally took care of the tiniest hair it cleaned my eyebrows completely and the pain was half as bad as the waxing. Not to mention the price waxing was 15 dollars while threading was only 5. And the best thing of all is after you don't feel like a hot iron was placed on parts of
your face moments earlier. So to me i give waxing four points while threading gets a big 10!

Let me know if there are other ways ya'll prefer to get rid of unwanted hair on the comments below!

                                                                              Happy day everyone!
